CHAMETZ GEMACH IN FLATBUSH! Between Purim and Pesach, donate your non-perishable, closed-package chametz with reliable hechshers. The Gemach halachically sells all chametz. After Pesach, everything is distributed to those in need. Please consider a monetary donation along with your food drop off in order to purchase supplies, extra food and to distribute to families. For more information, please call: 718.377.6361 or email yitzchak@relkin.com (please write “Chametz Gemach” in subject line). Active between Purim and Pesach. The Gemach is located at 1101 East 3rd Street (I/J). Please call first for more details and to arrange drop off times. All Chametz must be dropped off by two days before bedikas chametz. In nine years, the Gemach gathered and distributed 30,000 pounds of food.
